Headshots for actors differ slightly from other headshots because these are typically made for role-casting and are usually printed size 8x10. They can also be used in an actor’s workbook and on their social media profiles.

Corporations can represent their talent and skill through their corporate headshot and may display it on the “about” us page on their website.
Social Media
Social media sites like LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, etc. have their own unique style for representing headshots. LinkedIn prefers square cropping and small size, while Facebook prefers a larger size and lets the individual pick the cropping format.
Personal Branding
Branding headshots are considered the modern portrait and are mostly used by professionals, business people, or corporations to make a statement of who, what, and how.
